Individual Lessons
It is highly recommended that students take individual instructions on their instrument in addition to the instruction they receive in band class. It offers the ability to tailor instruction more to the students needs and will help them become more proficient on their instrument.
Students who plan to major or minor in a music program in college and/or would like to audition for college scholarships should strongly consider taking lessons as soon as possible. It is very rare for students to gain admission to a School of Music or receive music scholarships without studying privately for at least two years prior to the audition.
